Susquehanna University Orchestra Program

Susquehanna Strings

Now in its second year, SU Strings is a multi-faceted, community based program for SU music students to gain conducting and managerial experience and for intermediate level string players to have a fun opportunity to make music.

Susquehanna University Orchestra

Since 1997, the SU orchestra has grown from a small string ensemble of 18 players to over 50 musicians presenting numerous varied programs of standard repertoire each year.  This ensemble is open to advanced musicians from all disciplines.

Concert Drama

Music Education is central to the mission of SU’s music department.  Dr. Wiley has authored and produced original programs for school and community performances since 1999.  The SU Orchestra and chamber ensembles tour local and regional school districts and communities, performing for young families and students grades K-12.  Orchestral shows are also published and available for professional/community orchestras-  ideal for family concerts.
