Thank you for nominating up to 5 qualified high school students, entering grades 9-12 of Fall 2026, capable of preparing this repertoire:
Copland "Hoe Down"/Bach, Brandenburg Concerto 3, 1st movement/Britten, Simple Symphony, 4th movement (interchangeable for program variety)
Samuel Coleridge Taylor/Troy Peters "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child"
Yukiko Nishimura "Shining Echoes"
Jeremy Woolstenhulme "La Cascara"
We also seek students who will best represent your organization, making connections with culturally diverse students, and participating in a regional mini-tour.
Your recommendation will suffice, no audition necessary. Students may send videos for scholarship consideration (see below). Seating auditions will take place on campus, 7/7. Spots will be filled on a first-come-first served basis.

Scholarships
Merit-based scholarships may be awarded for our most advanced musician/ambassadors. Applicants may send a video of a solo that best demonstrates playing ability to Dr. Wiley: jswiley@susqu.edu
Need-based scholarships are awarded for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. A school counselor should send a letter verifying the student's qualifications to Michelle Harmon: SummerPrograms@susqu.edu
