Wednesday, 7/10

7:00 Breakfast in cafeteria (quick)

7:30 Depart Susquehanna University

11:00 Arrive Alexandria City High School

• Go through security

• Secure instruments at Alexandria City HS

11:30 Bus transportation to DC monuments & Mall

Lunch on your own, sightseeing TBA

2:45 National Museum of African American History & Culture

5:00 Bus pick-up in DC, Check-in at

Holiday Inn Alexandria-Carlyle

6:00 Dinner (Spaghetti & meatballs)

Thursday, 7/11

7:00 Walk 5 minutes to Wegman's for breakfast (you'll receive cash to use at the cafe)

8:00 Bus transportation to Alexandria City High School

8:30 Security at ACHS

8:45 Chokfi' with Percussion 2

9:30 Side-by-side play-in with middle school strings

10:40 Sound-check/rehearsal

11:30 Performance for Alexandria City Music Camp

12:30 Lunch provided by HS booster club

1:10 Load buses, leave for Hershey

4:30 Sound - check

5:30 Dinner provided by Cornwall Manor (hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers)

7:00 Performance at Cornwall Manor, Cornwall, PA

8:30 Check in to Tru by Hilton, Hershey Chocolate Ave.

Friday, 7/12

7:30 Breakfast at hotel

9:00 Load buses, drive to Fresh Market at Towne Square

9:20 Rehearsal & sound-check

10:00 Performance at market

11:00 Lunch at Market (pizza, salad)

12:00 Return to hotel to drop/store instruments

12:30 Hershey Park!  (Dinner on your own)

7:00 Load buses, return to Susquehanna University

What to Bring (tour portion)

• Extra overnight bag for tour (leaving suitcase at SU)

• Money for two meals:  lunch sight seeing in DC,  dinner at Hershey Park (estimated $60)

Consider EGift Card for (cashless) Hershey

• Extra strings, rosin

• Sun screen (travel size), Water bottle

• Rain gear

Wear free SU t-shirt on Wednesday & Friday

• Concert black for Thursday concerts

(any shoes ok, no black jeans, shirts must have sleeves - short sleeves ok)

• Instrument & Music (Summit music + solos/accompaniments for possible impromptu Rain Plan)

• Phone charger, toiletries

• PJ's, undergarments for 2 days, shorts for Friday 

Optional items: Games (for hotel evenings), Portable music stand, Bathing suit, additional SU t-shirt (available at bookstore)
